About for.do

for.do is a library of playbooks: the exact steps, in order, for things most people do once — launch a product, sit an entrance exam, get a licence, register a company. Each playbook is written to be followed, not read: numbered steps, boxes that remember what you have ticked, the fees and dates inside the step where you need them, and a sources list at the bottom so you can verify any number before you pay it.

What makes a playbook worth publishing

What it is not

Not legal, medical, financial or aviation advice. Rules differ by country and change without notice; a playbook is a map, the regulator's page is the territory.

Corrections

Every playbook has a "report an outdated step" link. Corrections with a source get folded in and the reviewed date moves.

The tools

The tools, portals and services each step uses are listed by task on find.do, the directory pages of the same paper.
